Lisa Salvadorini is a New York Emmy nominated anchor and an Emmy winning producer for News 12 Westchester and New 12 Hudson Valley's Daytime Edition. Lisa was nominated in 2009 and 2008 for a New York Emmy Award for her work on the "Hudson Valley Daytime Edition." She received a New York Emmy Award for "Surfing for Sex," a town meeting about how sexual predators target children. Also, she has received numerous AP, Telly and Videographer Awards for her work at News 12. Lisa has interviewed such Hollywood heavyweights as Robert De Niro, Harrison Ford, Robin Williams and Jennifer Lopez. She covers the Entertainment beat for the station including red carpet events like the MTV Video Music Awards. Lisa has created many new and exciting segments for News 12...including her very own "12 on the Web" and "Whats to Do." Her career in television began in Gainesville, Florida. She then moved to Boston and worked behind the scene for New England Cable News. In 1997, she landed a job as a Health Reporter and fill-in anchor at a station in Worchester, MA. Lisa has lived all over the country as part of a military family - she finally found her current home with her husband and 2 children, in Westchester County.
