James is the head youth leader of Heavenly Productions Foundation (HPF) since 2009 and volunteers on HPF's Annual Backpacks/School Supply projects and outreaches to the Ronald McDonald House.

 

James was awarded the Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program in 2012 and was awarded a $1000.00 college scholarship and certificate for his volunteerism.

 

He was honored by Prudential Spirit of Community Awards as a Distinguished Finalist for the State of New York in 2015 and was presented with a bronze medal and certificate for his volunteerism. He also received the President's Volunteer Service Award in 2015. 

 

He has raised close to $5000.00 as well as awareness for Riverkeeper which is an organization that defends the Hudson River and its tributaries and protects the drinking water supply of nine million New York City and Hudson Valley residents.

In April, 2017, James was awarded 2nd Place prize in The Christopher's National Poster Contest entitled "I Can Make A Difference".

 

James now attends Pomfret School in Pomfret, CT and he plays on their Varsity Basketball and Soccer teams.
